[Journey to the West] A Peach Tree

She was a sentient peach tree that had grown on Flower-Fruit Mountain for five hundred years. The day she gained consciousness, a furry monkey came along... and plucked the peaches from her branches.

She never forgot that furry monkey.

Later, immortals came to cause havoc on Flower-Fruit Mountain, and the furry monkey named Sun Wukong drove them off.

The peach tree spirit, nearly struck down by Erlang Shen, came to the conclusion that immortals were no good, while the furry monkey who called himself the Great Sage Equal to Heaven was really powerful.

After that, she worked hard to grow lots of peaches as a way of repaying him, and became the most beloved peach tree on Flower-Fruit Mountain.

But... the monkey she wanted to repay had disappeared.

Then, one day after the journey to fetch the scriptures, a woman stopped Tang Sanzang, his three disciples, and their horse.

Taosheng, aghast: "Great Sage, how could you forget me? You ate so many of my children back then (peaches)!"

Monkey Bro: "..."

Everyone else: "!!!"

Taosheng, blushing and cupping her cheeks: "My name is Taosheng. I chose it myself, because the Great Sage once told me it would be great if I could have more children (peaches)~"

Monkey Bro: "..."

Everyone else: "That's way too much..."

Taosheng, anxious: "I really want to give my male idol some monkey babies, but one day I suddenly realized I'm a peach tree spirit... What if I give birth to a bunch of kiwifruit?"

Monkey Bro: "...You're overthinking it, idiot!"
