The Gravity-Type Killer’s Misadventures in the Ninja World

Itami's life changed because of two things an online friend said the first time they met in person. One was, "Have you seen Full O? You look just like that person!" The other was, "Sorry, I'd rather go to the ninja world, experience misfortune, and commit seppuku…" Itami asked what Full O was, so she was forced to watch her first anime ever. In the manga, she found a brother who shared neither parent with her: Illumi. Itami looked just like his twin. Her online friend even thought their personalities were similar, but Itami coolly denied it. Itami asked what the ninja world was. Before her friend could start telling her about that miserable story, she transmigrated. The good news was that she had a System, which planned to give Itami the perfect body: one with the same physical data, talent, and abilities as Illumi. The bad news was that the System had malfunctioned. Her body was still in pieces, and she would need to keep copying the original before it could be assembled. Itami turned to look at the long-haired assassin who had attached himself to her consciousness like a ghost and was throwing his weight around in her inner world. Her heart sank. All that remained was the misery of having to placate her superiors in another world, too. There were actually several bodies in the System's database waiting to be assembled. But for now, sweetie, the System was going to put you in a baby's body and have you raised there. Remember to get along with the original soul! And so Itami was assigned a little brother. They shared a body. The whole family instantly accepted that their son had two souls. They were all absolutely convinced that Itami was the "older brother" and their biological son, Uchiha Itachi, was the "younger brother." When her body was finally assembled and Itami thought she could at last walk around on her own, things only got more complicated. Not to mention that her little brother and her clan brother were looking at her more and more strangely. Later, even her long-term partner on assassination missions would scratch his golden head and stammer. Just when Itami thought the whole village had fallen under a genjutsu and she was about to question reality, she was forcibly thrown into a body whose fragments hadn't even all been collected and which, by rights, shouldn't have been usable. Itami opened her eyes with a wince and found that the village, already backward, seemed even more primitive. Then she saw that only two heads remained on the Hokage Rock. Itami: ? A story about a self-proclaimed female assassin, coolly severing her bonds and sending shock waves through the ninja world, while everyone else sees a deadpan-cute, long-haired beauty and a grand contest between her and the shinobi over who matters most to whom. Reading guide: 1. Most of the main text is in the second person, with occasional shifts to the third. 2. Includes a Mary Sue heroine, time jumps, multiple secret identities, and misunderstandings. More or less, the secret identities of the heroine and the System spread rumors about each other and have a child, though there is no actual child. Each secret identity has no more than two secret identities at any given point in the timeline. 3. She starts out as a soul controlling a male body. Later, she occasionally uses a male body as needed through transformation. There are no romantic storylines while she's using a male body or a male secret identity. Think of Illumi as rather androgynous: people on the street might call him a beautiful woman. Both male and female bodies combine dominant and submissive traits. 4. This isn't a power fantasy from start to finish. Her abilities fluctuate with each body's setup at different stages. Canon pairings may be split up as needed. We need to try sweet, sour, and bittersweet flavors to really enjoy the meal. 5. The timeline is chaotic. I'm writing what I want to read, and a lot of the plot comes from vague memories and reference material. 6. The System's features were inspired by mobile games. I've been hooked on the arena lately, so character fighting styles and skill animations may occasionally be inspired by the game. Most of it's nonsense: as long as it's fun to write, it's fine. I thought we'd stop talking about the past once we grew up, but I lied.
