[Avatar Fanfiction] Prey

My name is Cheng Dahua. I'm a twenty-first-century young woman who lies flat, and I've become the laziest person on Pandora.

I was planning to laze around until I died, until the day I found a stranded human in the woods with blue skin and yellow eyes.

He said his name was Jake Sully. He had clear, foolish eyes and three bloody gashes across his back. He was close to death and still staring at me.

I carried him back to the tribe, tied him to a tree vine, and tipped up his chin as I told him:

"From today on, you're mine. Got it?"

Only later did I learn that this idiot was a spy sent by the Sky People.

And later still, I learned that he nearly sacrificed himself just to stay.

But that was later.

Right now, he's lying beside me, his tail curled around mine, asking what we're having tomorrow.

I say I'm too lazy to think about it.

He says he'll think of something, then.

All right. I'll laze around until I die, with an idiot beside me for company.

Not bad.
