[Western Crossover] Lord SuperBat, but It's the Ultimate Judgment!

Blurb:

1.

After the Joker kills everyone at the Daily Planet, Superman decides to protect justice by taking a different path.

And so the Justice Lord is born.

At the same time, Lord Batman proposes that Lord Superman cannot simply burn away the prefrontal cortexes of every criminal. They need an effective way to judge and execute them.

And so the Forgiveness System Court is born.

2.

"This is the Forgiveness System Court. I am the judge presiding over this trial, the intelligent AI Lois Lane.

Defendant, Justice Lord Superman Kal-El, you are accused of murdering your partner, Lord Batman. Your current probability of guilt is 98%, far above the court's 80% trial threshold."

The first to be sent to the gallows is the Joker, personally escorted there by Lord Superman.

As expected, the Forgiveness System finds the Joker guilty.

Soon, one supervillain, murderer, and rapist after another is put before the Forgiveness System. Not one manages to escape conviction.

Nor is a single innocent person wrongly harmed by the Forgiveness System.

But one day, as the Justice Lords' power continues to grow,

Lord Superman wakes up in an empty courtroom.

Lois Lane, once his close partner and senior colleague back when he was a reporter, is now dead, and his friend has become an AI judge. She looks at him expressionlessly and says:

"The Forgiveness System will fully assist with your investigation, Kal-El. You have 90 minutes to prove your innocence.

"After 90 minutes, if your probability of guilt is still above 80%, you will be found guilty."

"Now, please swear: Everything I say from this point on will be the truth."

3.

"..."

"There must be some mistake, Lois."

Kal, whose emotions have dwindled since becoming Lord Superman, looks confused as he asks:

"How could Lord Batman be dead?

"How could I have killed him?"

But if Batman really is dead, Lord Superman knows who the killer is.

The killer must be, and can only be, Batman himself.

Lord Batman has grown increasingly dissatisfied with the way the Justice Lord system has developed. Their conflict has erupted, and all that's missing is the final spark.

Kal remembers what Batman said during their argument not long ago:

"We need justice, but not like this."

Content warnings:

1. Superman/Batman pairing.

2. They're called the Justice Lords, but this is a huge mashup combining Justice Lords, Kingdom Come, and Injustice.

3. HE. There will be lots of viewing scenes in the second half.
