[Football] My Work Diary at Milanello

One day, Maldini was knocked unconscious by a “falling object” and taken to the hospital. Everyone was baffled. The Maldinis lived in a standalone mansion, so where could something have fallen from? Silvio Conti was that “falling object.” One moment, he was a certain leopard who hadn’t managed to brake in time and had plunged into the water. The next, he appeared high above the Maldini home and fell straight down. Old man Maldini eyed the blond young man with eyeliner all around his eyes warily. In the end, Maldini brought the stranger to Milanello, where he trained alongside the youth players. A week later, the youth coaches handed this troublemaker over to Maldini, telling him the kid had real potential but needed someone like him to take him in. The youth team couldn’t handle him. Then they gave their explanation and fled. * The Rossoneri nicknamed Silvio “the Prince.” On the pitch, he seemed to command the force of a thousand mountains, crashing through the opposition’s defense and leaving players sprawled everywhere. The nickname reflected his dominance on the field. Who could have guessed that this king of the pitch would be so lazy off it? Was that really their center forward, whining in their captain’s arms? Not sure. Better take another look… The sky is falling. It really is their center forward! Content warnings: 1. I’m filling in the matches. Please point out anything inaccurate. 2. One player, one club. No RedBird. Italy national team. 3. The 2002 Korea boxing incident is real boxing. 4. There’s an age gap. The timeline starts in 1987, but the kid is too young, so I’ll use time skips. 5. Note: The nickname came to me in a flash of inspiration. Armand de Bourbon, the Prince of Conti. Theme: Work hard at football if you want to win.
