So he decides to spend another day lying around. * Gotham's Dark Knight discovers a bizarre job application. Some of the information on it catches his attention. So Bruce puts on a sweet, harmless smile, visits Celeste in person for an interview, and hires him. Celeste: "Mr. Wayne, allow me to point out that I can't simultaneously serve as your bodyguard, the Wayne Manor gardener, your chauffeur, the Wayne Group's CFO, and the Justice League's interdimensional translator..." Bruce: "Triple the salary, after taxes." Celeste: "I'll do my very best to serve you, Mr. Wayne." [Extra Scene] Celeste: "Mr. Bruce, I think I should mention that, given the nature of my work, there may be some 'unresolved issues' between me and the former bosses listed on my resume." Bruce, aka a certain Bat: "Such as?" Celeste, deadpan: "Since it was work, I always instinctively agreed with them and catered to what they wanted to hear, which led them to think I approved of their principles or was completely loyal to them. So whenever I left a job, their reactions... were a little irrational." Bruce falls silent for a moment, then can't help asking, "... Romantic entanglements?" Celeste looks away. "I'm not sure, sir. I'm not sure." Theme: There will always be someone in the world who loves you.
