[Western Crossover] Player Nightwing Just Wants to Fall into Evil

Nightwing, the first Robin, a founding member of the Titans, and a constant across the multiverse.

Only he knows his true identity: he's a player. He diligently grinds through missions and builds up affection, all so he can go solo in Bludhaven, unlock free mode, and gleefully fall to evil in all kinds of IF endings.

That's right, fall to evil: the kind often seen in stories for kids, where someone is corrupted by evil forces, brainwashed, or mentally controlled by an enemy... Just imagining the Batfamily, the Justice League, and the Titans facing him with pain and disbelief at his betrayal, then relief when they realize he can't control himself, and the love spilling out as they try to save him, is the essence of a villain arc!

He excitedly opened the IF-route event, only to discover that Superman and Batman had both turned evil before he could.

No! I don't want to be saved as an afterthought!! Genuine evil and forced corruption, which one do you think is more urgent?!

Looks like he'll just have to buckle down and save the world first!

Author's note: Paragraph comments are open, so feel free to comment! Please try not to insult anyone in the Batfamily~

Arguments in the comments will be deleted. Here's roughly what I consider the standard, and suggestions are welcome:

“I think Batman's no-kill rule is wrong and naive” or “I think Red Hood's methods are wrong and reckless.” Fine. Reasonable debates are okay, since the story will also get to Injustice later (glances away).

“I think Batman is a pretentious capitalist playing house with the Joker” or “I think Red Hood is an ungrateful brat who deserves to die.” Not okay! Those comments will be deleted~ Please don't attack the characters~!
