Enrique transmigrates.
The good news: he's become a Kryptonian.
The bad news: he's landed in Gotham, where the head of the Court of Owls has taken him in.
They adopt him in public, but secretly use him as bait, drawing countless eyes with their false affection. They pin him to an operating table and flay him, taking him apart piece by piece. In the end, they even plan to use love as an excuse to make him willingly offer them the whole world.
Enrique: Heh. You can take your damn "love" and shove it.
He thought this was the beginning of a Gotham-style Injustice arc.
But Enrique is disappointed to discover that he's nothing more than a discarded experimental subject created by a mad Kryptonian scientist.
Oh... no!
A hellish start? No, it's the all-inclusive hell package.
Enrique will never give up!
On the night of his coming-of-age ceremony, Enrique sets the Court of Owls ablaze.
As countless owls wail, the Talons kneel around him like a rising tide, bearing witness to the birth of a new king.

A frail, sickly beauty appears in Gotham by day, coughing every few steps and needing to sit down every ten, yet beneath his fragile exterior lies a "kind and unyielding" soul.
He's Bruce's best partner in saving Gotham during the day, and Bruce almost thinks he's found someone who truly understands him.
Until the pale mask is knocked away, and an owl cries out in the night.
The broken-winged Robin lands beside the owl. The Owl's Head cane lifts the bird's chin, and a whisper sounds in his ear.
The bird opens his eyes amid the flames of fury.
"I will win every honor for Father."
"Batman, the Court of Owls has sentenced you to death!"

Batman and Superman face the greatest enemy of their lives: an evil version of Superman with a mind as sharp as Batman's.
They fight him and suffer at his hands, but they will never give in!
Bane, who wanted to break Batman's back but got both his arms broken instead: ...
The Joker, who planned to kill the bird but ended up half-paralyzed: ...
Doomsday, who tried to kill Superman but got punched into the sun: ...
Brainiac, who planned to invade Earth but had his whole family wiped out: ...
The Batman Who Laughs cautiously pokes his head out, then leaves in disgust.
You guys, tell me already, is he their nemesis or their babysitter?!
Enrique grins in the darkness.
No one gets to steal my prey!
P.S.
1. The protagonist is morally gray and chaotic, but for certain reasons can't become too evil. With superheroes and the others, he's the sort who can bully them, but won't let anyone else bully them. So he'll beat the superheroes up, but if someone else beats them up, he'll destroy that person.
2. The pairing is undecided. I'm currently thinking there may be several relationships along the way, not necessarily romantic, but there will be no pairing in the end.
