Carlos transmigrated.
He was lucky enough to receive a rhythm-game warrior System, which let him produce different effects by singing different songs.
The ability was practically perfect. As long as he sang well, he could do anything from pruning branches to reversing time, from buffing everyone to clearing the whole battlefield with one click.
He could attack or defend, heal or support. There was nothing he couldn't do, if he could think of it!
The catch was that he had transmigrated as a baby, one who had been kidnapped, abandoned by his parents, had his throat slit as a result, and been dumped in a lawless region of the Middle East.
Carlos: ...Whoever wants to play on hell difficulty can have it!
But he survived, with a half-ruined voice and a soul full of resentment. He lived so miserably even dogs would shake their heads at the sight, and every day he needed the thought of destroying the world just to keep himself going.
Until one day, a green-eyed little squirt over a meter tall dug him out. "Carlos, I need your help."
Carlos: ?
Who are you?

After little Damian introduced himself, Carlos finally learned that this was a world of superheroes, and even a reverse-order Batman world.
Unfortunately, the previous world had already been destroyed and rebooted. Damian wanted to invite him to help save the world.
Carlos: Me? Who was it that wanted to destroy the world? I'll go help him.
Damian: ...
Carlos gave in.
Bruised and battered, but genuinely persuaded.

They returned to Gotham together. Reverse Damian wanted to save the world, but even more, he wanted to save his family.
Then they ran into a middle-aged Batman, silent and abrasive, always on the fringes; a broken, despondent Nightwing, living alone after leaving home; an angry, unhinged Red Hood, frighteningly competent at his job; and a Red Robin whose intelligence was overwhelming, but who smiled like a damp, sinister ghost...
Carlos looked up. "This is the reverse order."
Then he looked at those sturdy arms and that dangerously fragile mental state, and nudged Damian. "So this is what you mean by saving them?"
Damian glared at his enormous younger brothers, his face livid. "Shut up!"
#Help, how does a physical-combat champion save his family through therapy?
Damian said nothing. He only wanted to destroy the world and reboot it again.
P.S.:
The pairing is reverse Damian, but the author's romance writing is a mess, so they either won't get together until much later or it may never be explicitly confirmed. It might just happen naturally. (Either way, romance only starts after they are both adults.)
Theme: Physical and mental rescue are both important
