[Classic Everything Can Be Made Masculine] A gag-filled story that turns every web-novel genre into a person. No danmei substitutions or dream stand-ins, no peeping fujoshi, and no top- or bottom-obsessed characters. Some of the plot is pretty outrageous and not very romantic. At its core, it is a fake harem, but Zheng Gong really is the one and only official spouse, true love. The two are completely devoted to each other.
When Wenren Mi's husband, Zheng Gong, dies in an accident, the culprit sincerely returns Wenren Mi's belongings: a harem-protagonist aura.
The thief weeps bitterly. "You had a peaceful life for a long time because of it, didn't you? Please forgive me!"
Wenren Mi has never heard anything so absurd. He thinks the man has gone crazy, gets up at once, and walks down a corridor filled with high fantasy, high martial arts, infinite-flow worlds, battles across the heavens, bizarre rules, and wastelands, trying to get away from the lunatic. But as he leaves the cafe, he accidentally bumps into a man, who then asks him, "Sir, are you into guys?"
Wenren Mi slaps the second lunatic.
Next, an ex-friend he had already cut ties with comes looking for him. He still refuses to apologize for insulting Wenren Mi's husband when Wenren Mi got married, but thinks that now the official spouse is dead, they can make up.
Wenren Mi slaps his former friend.
After finally enjoying two peaceful days, Wenren Mi is about to water the flowers Zheng Gong raised when his brother-in-law shows up at the door. "My younger brother is dead, but I can carry on this relationship."
Wenren Mi slaps the brother-in-law, with whom he never got along in the first place.
Unable to properly mourn Zheng Gong, Wenren Mi angrily throws open the door and slaps the shameless stranger who has turned up at his doorstep out of nowhere. He spins around and slaps his clingy ex-friend, then whips back around and hits his brother-in-law so hard he can't get back up. His eyes are already red with rage, so he might as well drag out the neighbor who inexplicably started coveting him and slap him, slap the nasty father-in-law who can't stand him, and even smack his boss, who tried to break up the fight
"Smack." Someone clasps Wenren Mi's hands between both of his.
"Mimi, it's me. I'm home."
[This is the full-size blurb, in case anyone says it doesn't match the product.]
Wenren Mi's husband Zheng Gong died after being hit by a truck. Who knew his husband wasn't human, or that even the Eastern Fantasy world had trucks that could run people over?
It wasn't an ordinary truck. The culprit returned a harem-protagonist aura to Wenren Mi, but Wenren Mi had already switched to a bizarre-rules world after losing the aura.
So Wenren Mi takes his starting skill, Bizarre Rules, into this world where people are good at dying and bad at staying alive, and begins his Zheng Gong rescue mission.
Along the way, Wenren Mi goes on a rampage. He gets proper high martial arts, the Heavens-spanning worlds that combine into a resource warehouse, the ultimate support character from the full-dive world, the mind reader who's always been on the ban list, and the lively Western Fantasy world.
The mastermind: Stop treating web-novel genres turned into guys like collectible cards!
Wenren Mi hugs Zheng Gong and throws a punch. "If you hadn't caused trouble, I'd still be holed up in a rental apartment made by the Ghost Domain, dating him!"
It's all the author's fault!
[This is a preview blurb.]
Ying Xu has pursued the great fortune that can "make heaven and earth change" and finally finds Lu Xiuyuan, the protagonist of this world, battered and bruised in a dilapidated temple. As thunder crashes, Ying Xu remembers what happened before he transmigrated: he took a commission on Xianyu to do someone's graduation project, and not only did the client refuse to pay the balance, they also sent him a TXT file, apparently by mistake.
Ying Xu clicked it open, was traumatized by the endless yellow-highlighted scenes, and, even while asking the client to confirm receipt, left a review: "You're already the Heavenly Dao, and you die like that? What a dumbass author, what a dumbass novel."
"If you think you can do better, then do it yourself. You're all talk once you've finished." Pardon him. So the client was the author.
And so Ying Xu really did it. He transmigrated into the novel he'd been cursing, becoming the final villain "girl" who would be fucked to death by the male lead, Lu Xiuyuan. Yes, in this cultivation-upgrade story, the Heavenly Dao of this world was naturally the villain, and a villain who moonlighted in harem antics, at that.
Now Ying Xu, a man and an unlucky soul who was sent transmigrating by the author's command, has taken over that role, bringing along his CAD software and drawing tablet, as well as the final draft that the client never accepted. Before his memories return, he diligently starts from scratch, building models and extracting assets. No, serving as the Heavenly Dao, unaware that heaven and earth are about to change.
Here's the problem: as the Heavenly Dao, Ying Xu should take advantage of Lu Xiuyuan's weakness and kill this glitching, program-breaking man who also covets him once and for all. Ying Xu grips the Heavenly Dao Ruler and approaches the man on his last legs, but the words that come out of his mouth are:
"You're acting way too fake."
Ying Xu recites the original villain's line. He feels the overwhelming pressure of the author's laws bearing down on him, and his face darkens, but he can't bring himself to attack Lu Xiuyuan. Lu Xiuyuan has already tightened his grip on his banner-spear and forced himself to his feet.
Lu Xiuyuan looks at the displeased young man. His lips move, and he swings his sword, trying to knock the loosely held Heavenly Dao Ruler out of Ying Xu's hand. But his will cannot overcome his grievously injured body. The moment he touches the ruler's edge, he falls.
Before he sinks into darkness, Lu Xiuyuan sees the cold glint at the edge of Ying Xu's ruler, and the faint reflection in its plain surface of the statue in the ruined temple, its face long since blurred beyond recognition.
In a daze, Lu Xiuyuan thinks the weathered statue is gradually changing into the figure of the young man before him. Hah. Who would have thought that a fugitive like him could attract the attention of a god?
Ying Xu watches Lu Xiuyuan pass out, still unwilling to give in. The Heavenly Dao Ruler, which Lu Xiuyuan had touched, lies on the ground. The laws are bearing down on Ying Xu, the villain temporarily entrusted with Lu Xiuyuan's treasure. He can't erase Lu Xiuyuan.
Ying Xu sneers and picks up the Heavenly Dao Ruler. If he won't fight heaven, is he supposed to cling to the protagonist and get fucked to death? He saw the look in the protagonist's eyes just now, and it wasn't just reluctance.
There are plenty of ways to fix bugs in this world. Lu Xiuyuan, it's a long road ahead. Just wait and see.
Theme: A real man fights.
