But no one knows that on the day they formed their team, all five geniuses were thinking the same thing [Great! The other four teammates are so strong. If I blend in, no one will realize I’m a useless slacker!] - Jun Zhifei transmigrated into the cultivation world and made it into Chongxiao Academy from a remote border village. She ranked first and was showered with praise. But then disaster struck overnight, and she lost her abilities. From then on, she had to pretend to be a genius and use every trick in the book to hold on to her top ranking, putting on an elaborate act every day. Jun Zhifei: This is how we fakers do it. The act never ends! Only after joining the “strongest team in history” could she finally breathe a sigh of relief. Great, with four powerful teammates out front, things would be much easier for her. They explored secret realms, took on missions, and fought side by side, ready to live and die together. But gradually, they began to realize something was off. Teammate Number One, aren’t you a genius healer? Why are the pills you gave me just candy? Teammate Number Two, aren’t you a rich playboy? Why are you working three jobs by day and knitting sweaters at night? Teammate Number Three, aren’t you Dragon Proudheaven? What do you mean, “I used to have a golden finger, but my finger got broken,” and “That’s not a divine artifact, it’s just a fire poker”? Teammate Number Four, aren’t you a demon cultivator with the bloodline of Bai Ze? What do you mean you never inherited its power, and you only got those grades by cramming all night and getting lucky? When the truth came out, the friends stared at one another in despair. “You’ve got to be kidding. You’re pretending to be a genius too?” And if we’re all fakers slacking off, how did we become the strongest team? Also known as: “Huh, You’re Kidding, I’m Not a Genius?” “Aren’t You Guys Geniuses?” “Beating Up My Teammates” “A Team of Nobodies Pretending to Be Big Shots” “This Is How We Fakers Do It” “The Contest of Geniuses Is Always Like This” 1. A confident genius heroine, but the story is absurd and hilarious. 2. Everyone has a very strange personality, with their own cunning schemes and blind spots. 3. My take on cultivation. The story focuses on friendship and the gang’s carefree antics as they constantly prank one another. No romance within the team, because everyone saves their dirty tricks for their teammates… There is a romance, but it has very little page time and mostly comes near the end. It’s the hazy first stirrings of young love, handled lightly and allowed to unfold naturally. [Here’s the blurb for I Keep Elbowing the Dragon Proudheaven Every Day~ [High-energy, haughty heiress x gloomy, world-weary Dragon Proudheaven] Yun Ling entered the Dao at five, began cultivating at seven, challenged the top disciple of three mountains with her sword at twelve, and swept through her generation at sixteen. She was the sect’s most proud and dazzling young genius. After spending half a year in seclusion on the Ten Thousand Layer Snowfield, she came back to find the sect had taken on a junior brother whose achievements outshone even hers. The junior brother was solitary and gloomy, lazy and indifferent. She never saw him train, yet he effortlessly surpassed her in everything, as if he were the one truly favored by Heaven. The sect leader praised him as a genius born to greatness, his junior brothers and sisters admired him, and even the rest of the world called him and Yun Ling the sect’s twin pillars. Yun Ling was furious. She absolutely refused to let anyone outdo her at showing off or being powerful. From then on, Yun Ling declared war on her junior brother all by herself. Whatever he could do, she would do better; Whatever good thing he got, she would get twice as much. If he leaned on his sword against a tree and acted gloomy, she would out-gloom him, leaning on a railing in the wind and sighing about life. Even after learning that he was a spy from the Ghost Dao who planned to destroy the world, she still had to beat him to it and snatch the ultimate artifact of world destruction. Right in front of him, she lifted her chin triumphantly. “I’m destroying the world first! I’m destroying the world first!” The lonely, gloomy young man: “.” Shen Juanyu had a tragic past, was gloomy and world-weary, and had severe self-destructive tendencies. Unfortunately, fate was against him. He had an immortal body and couldn’t die no matter what he did. He also had a fellow disciple who was his senior by blood, a lively and flamboyant young woman with immense power who loved to spend every day following him around. He went to the scripture pavilion to look for secret techniques, and she hid behind the shelves, blushing as she sneaked glances at him; He took on a demon-slaying mission, and she insisted she was “worried about her junior brother’s safety” and had to go with him; He was imprisoned while saving someone, and her sword came slashing through the night, a rainbow piercing the sun and lighting up his eyes. Shen Juanyu understood: So my senior sister likes me. Unfortunately, as someone seeking death, he couldn’t return her affection. Their doomed romance was destined to go nowhere, and he hoped his senior sister would stop pursuing him. Much later, Shen Juanyu finally found a way to die and went alone to the deadly wasteland. But his senior sister leaped out and snatched away the magical artifact he planned to use to end his life. Shen Juanyu stared intently at Yun Ling. She seemed to be saying something, but he didn’t hear a word. There was only one thought in his mind: Maybe my senior sister doesn’t just like me She loves me. Theme: Believe in yourself
