Don’t Tell Them I Taught You

★Complete! Please leave a rating for the finished novel~ The Immortal Venerable Chong Jing had a dream. In the dream, a voice told her that she had taken in a wicked disciple born evil. Though that disciple was exceptionally gifted, sooner or later she would slaughter the heavens and destroy the earth, deceive her teacher and betray her ancestors. She would love Chong Jing without getting what she wanted, resort to taking her by force, and in the end be run through by Chong Jing's sword. Immortal Venerable: “…” Really? What sort of “exceptionally gifted” disciple still gets the strokes wrong on the same immobilization talisman after practicing it for a whole month?! Grading their talismans is practically guaranteed to give me a heart demon! What are you laughing at?! Other people's disciples can go down the mountain and fight demons, getting through eight hundred rounds of love and hate, while this pack of troublesome little disciples can only hold up a branch and giggle, “Hehe, Master, look, a little treasure-hunting mouse.” Where's that wicked disciple born evil? Why hasn't she shown up yet? Somebody save me. Immortal Venerable's Diary, Day One: Foolish Disciple C brought me a book on talisman fundamentals and said she was going to study it. My heart is comforted. She's finally remembered that her talisman-master exam is tomorrow. Immortal Venerable's Diary, Day Two: I heard some good news today. Foolish Disciple C's last-minute cramming paid off: she didn't come in last. Then I heard some bad news. Foolish Disciple B came in last. An old friend laughed beside me. I told them that if they kept laughing, it would be their disciple next. Immortal Venerable's Diary, Day Three: Foolish Disciple A got chewed out at home and declared, “Thirty years east of the river, thirty years west of the river. Don't bully the young and poor!” I said, “Never mind the river's east or west. Could you please just pass the preliminary exam safe and sound?” Immortal Venerable's Diary, Day Four: I repent. I never should have teamed up with my old friend to blow up the neighbor's medicine furnace, singe an elder's beard, play with spirit-beast cubs, and run wild and wreak havoc. It really was a lot of fun, but now that I've taken in disciples, I realize it's all come back to haunt me. It's retribution! … … Immortal Venerable's Diary, Some Day: A dream I had. In the dream, the wicked disciple said she had decided not to join my sect. There were too many foolish disciples, and coming here would tarnish her reputation as an evil seed. Why isn't she coming? What right does she have not to come? Come on, you have to come! I'll gather the materials, fix my sword, and come find you! I, Chong Jing, must teach and set straight this so-called wicked disciple born! evil! A chaotic, slapstick cultivation academy story where the heroine is the teacher. Yes, the heroine herself is incredibly powerful, but her reputation in the field of education is already hanging by a thread (). [The teacher and disciple only have a familial bond. The love interest is the Sword Venerable next door, who watched the fun and ended up with half a disciple foisted on him.] [Reader's Guide] 1. HE, SC, 1v1. Everyone involved, including the entire cultivation world, knows this couple likes each other. They used to cause trouble together, and now they kiss together. If you like each other, you like each other OvO 2. A lightly ensemble-driven story, set in a lively, generally friendly cultivation world. Both the teacher and her disciples have their own good friends. [The women are stronger, and there are more female supporting characters than male ones.] There are occasional pairings, but no forced gender balance~ 3. The main plot is a cultivation-school tournament from the teacher's perspective, plus “Who's my wicked disciple?” and “Where can I find materials to repair my sword?” Plot to romance, 7:3. No saving the world, but good people do get saved. There's more to the wicked-disciple business than meets the eye~ Everything serves the worldbuilding. 4. My own take on cultivation, in a mid-level magic world. Advancement stages: Qi Refining → Foundation Establishment → Golden Core → Nascent Soul → Deity Transformation → Ascension. Regions: Yingzhou → the Six Human Realms, Five Demon Capitals, and Three Demon Domains. 5. Leaving one more line here to fill in later~ [My next novel will be Meet Your New Boyfriend at Your Ex's Funeral. Please add it to your want-to-read list~] Eight hundred years after breaking up, Yaoshuang hears that her ex-boyfriend has died. She rushes out of seclusion without a moment's delay to attend her ex's funeral. The funeral hall is filled with mourners dressed in white, with only her wearing bright colors. Everyone at the funeral is grieving, while she alone wears a beaming smile. Just as her ex is about to sit up in his coffin, everyone else is delighted, while she immediately draws her bow and aims at the coffin: “Get back in there and die!” No, wait. There's also a handsome young man. At the exact same moment as Yaoshuang, he draws his sword and points it at her ex-boyfriend's coffin. Oh? The suitable new boyfriend she's spent eight hundred years looking for, someone who can keep her ex in line, is right here? Rest in peace, ex-boyfriend. Chen Xiao perished alongside the Heavenly Demon, giving up his body and being reborn in the body of a young sword cultivator. After traveling thousands of miles to attend his own funeral, he discovers that the Heavenly Demon's remnant soul is hidden inside his body and is about to awaken. At this critical moment, someone acts even faster than he does. …As expected, the person who strikes him hardest isn't himself. It's his ex-girlfriend. With a jumble of feelings in her heart, his ex-girlfriend looks at him and exclaims, “Huh?” She says, “You're better-looking than my ex-boyfriend. Want to go out?” How can she be like this? Chen Xiao presses his lips together for ages, but can't think of a way to scold her for finding a new young sword cultivator when his own corpse isn't even cold yet! Half a day later, he silently rests his head on her lap. Saving the world is exhausting. I'm writing something about a couple being all lovey-dovey instead >vO Why did they break up? Because this man went off to save the world all by himself without saying a word. He deserved to be dumped., Yaoshuang Theme: Let flowers be flowers and trees be trees.
