The Reborn Hunter Dotes on His Wife and Cherishes His Eight Daughters

In the bitter winter of 2025, Liu Mancang, a lonely man in his seventies, freezes to death beside his late wife’s grave. When he opens his eyes, he is back in 1981 at a logging camp in the Xing’an Mountains. His eight daughters are starving and freezing, while his biased mother pressures him to adopt his nephew. His wife and daughters are heartbroken, and his life is about to repeat itself.

This time, he finally sees the truth. He wields a woodcutter’s knife to put troublesome relatives in their place, then uses his slingshot and wits to bring home delicacies from the mountains. He sets snares and traps to hunt foxes, roe deer, and wild boar. With courage and cunning, he keeps wolves and petty troublemakers at bay. Fur by fur, he trades for rice and flour; wild game by the haul, he nourishes his family and mends their bonds.

See how Liu Mancang uses his hunting rifle and deep regrets to forge a path to redemption through the vast forest, protect his wife and daughters, and write his own legendary tale of the northeastern mountains!
