Feng Shui Master Lin Xiaogong

Lin Xiaogong was a famous feng shui master, astronomer, and occultist of the Sui dynasty. Hailing from Jingzhao Commandery, in present-day Xi’an, Shaanxi, he was renowned for his mastery of astronomy and mathematics and his ability to predict calamities and good fortune. He was highly favored by Emperor Wen of Sui. After offering up everything he had learned in his life to reverse the movements of the stars, he was blinded for revealing the secrets of Heaven. He eventually retired from public life and wrote the Taiyi Formula Classic, leaving behind an age-old mystery: “Feng shui can save the world, but fate cannot be escaped.”
