The CEO's Adoring Crossover Wife Is a Coser

In Haicheng in 2025, art teacher He Yicha is backstage at an art exhibition, adjusting her “Biyao” cosplay outfit. The acacia bells in her hair ring softly, echoing the mood of her painting, “Zhu Xian: Moon-Viewing Terrace.” Three years ago, Su Yuntao, president of the Su Group, had let his career come before her. Now he suddenly appears, bringing with him the familiar scent of jasmine. “I’ll buy your painting,” he says, reopening a tangled love affair that has spanned three years.

Before an overseas merger, he once ignored her tears, yet stayed up late every night checking her convention updates. She had been heartbroken when he missed her graduation ceremony, but at a convention in Shanghai, she saw him push through the crowd in a fan shirt bearing the “Zhu Xian” logo. From the wolf-hair brush he broke in her studio to the acacia bell brooch forged from its broken handle, from boardroom negotiations to convention backrooms, Su Yuntao keeps his promise, “I’m back,” in his clumsy but unwavering way. He stands up to her online haters, learns to cosplay, and establishes a fund for the anime and gaming community, so the world will treat her passion with kindness.

As the song “Zhu Xian, I’m Back” plays beneath the convention fireworks, he drops to one knee, hiding a ring inside a “Zhu Xian Sword” gift box. “I owe you three years. I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to you.” This is a love that crosses dimensions, proving that all the wandering and waiting will finally become a promise that never fades when the one you love comes home.
