I Brought Three Kids and Turned the 1980s Upside Down: Husband, Get on Your Knees

After her body was occupied by a transmigrator for six years, Xu Jinli is reborn when the other woman dies choking after a binge-eating spree.

Upon her return, she faces a bloated, 200-jin body, three children who have been abused into timidity (Xiaobao, Xiaoxue, and Tianbao), and her husband Nan Tingzhu’s cold divorce agreement. She has squandered the family’s affection, too.

But she refuses to give in. Starting by losing weight, she makes her first steps selling bell-bottom pants at a street stall, then gradually builds the clothing empire known as Liying Group. Along the way, she mends her relationship with her older brother Wang Yu’an and older sister Wang Xia, wins back Nan Tingzhu’s heart, and helps the children find warmth again.

Together with embroidery-shop owner Pu Yan and merchants like Zhou Wenhong, she overcomes the Yan family’s harassment and beats back the competition. In the end, each child finds success, and she and Nan Tingzhu stay by each other’s side. With resilience and wisdom, she turns the mess left behind by the transmigrator into a happy life complete in every way.
