The ER White Coat

Lin Wanqing, an emergency-room doctor reassigned to pediatrics, uses reason and compassion to overcome doubts about her in the workplace. From treating patients with no money, identification, or family to facing crises involving violence against medical staff, she fights side by side with Gu Mingxiu, a deputy director scarred by such an attack. In life-and-death moments, including resuscitating a pregnant woman suffering a heart attack, the two use their expertise to rebuild emergency procedures. They also heal each other’s wounds, writing a moving, hard-hitting story of medical growth and love.
