Su Nian, Your Scent Smells Like a Sunny Day

For Su Nian, a top student in plant science, nothing in the world is more wonderful than watching cells divide under a microscope or finding a rare plant beaded with dew in the morning mist. Her world is quiet and focused, filled with the scent of earth and chlorophyll.

That is, until one afternoon, while rushing to save her precious “Moonlit Dew,” she crashed straight into a cool, enticing embrace.

Shen Zhiheng, the legendary genius of the chemistry department, was composed and self-possessed, an unreachable dream in the hearts of countless girls. Su Nian thought it was merely a spectacularly embarrassing accident, but an interdisciplinary research project brought two people with nothing in common together, binding them as precisely as a formula.

One lived in a world of plant forms and growth, the other in a world of molecular structures and reactions.

What marvelous fragrance might emerge when the scent of plants meets chemical extraction?

Perhaps… every heartbeat smells like fresh grass in the sunshine, crisp and a little intoxicating.

This is a story about scent, waiting, and falling in love.

Hey, your scent is exactly like the sunny day I love best.
