God Ji’s Tanghulu and Introduction to Architecture

For Su Nian, the architecture student known as a “conceptual genius and practical good-for-nothing,” the most heart-stopping moment of her college life came when a runaway string of candied hawthorns rolled right to the feet of Ji Chen, the legendary star of her department.

She thought it was the ultimate social disaster, never imagining it was the start of fate tying them together.

When wild ideas meet meticulous precision, and the aroma of late-night cafeteria food drifts into a studio where students are working through the night...

A chaotic yet heartwarming collaboration begins.

Ji Chen is the most precise ruler on her blueprints, and the warmest light in her life.

And Su Nian is probably the sweetest, most “out-of-control” surprise in Ji Chen’s otherwise placid life.

This is a story about blueprints, models, candied hawthorns, and falling in love. It’s slow, and oh so sweet.
