Hogwarts: I Inherit Lockhart's Top-Tier Magic

Luoha transmigrates into Gilderoy Lockhart, a bestselling author, a recipient of the Order of Merlin, Third Class, and five-time winner of Witch Weekly's Most Charming Smile Award. In truth, he can barely manage even basic spells. On the first day of term, Dumbledore personally escorts him to Hogwarts, where he has to grit his teeth and take the post of Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor. He improvises in the Headmaster's Office, delivering a speech in American slang about how "nobody understands magic better than me," and wins Professor McGonagall over on the spot.

In Potions Class, Snape is just about to kick him out when Lockhart pins him in place with, "I'm the only person in the world who's ever stood up for you," then takes the opportunity to pitch his plan to "write the definitive book on Potions." In the greenhouse, more than a hundred young Mandrakes start screaming in unison. While his head feels ready to explode from the pain, he pees on them to fertilize them and somehow manages to keep the chaos under control. Hermione chases after him to ask, "What is the true nature of magic?" He answers without hesitation: "Fairy tales." In his office, the Cornish Pixies sent over by Mad-Eye Moody are already fidgeting in their cage, and Lockhart knows better than anyone exactly how their first lesson is going to turn out.
