The Watcher Beneath Mufeng Mountain

Witnessed by Muztagh Peak, three generations of a Tajik family spent 76 years silently guarding the western border of the motherland. The grandfather rode a yak on the first border patrol road, carving the oath into the family blood; the father braved the wind and snow for half his life, turning his mission into a firm belief; the grandson returned to the plateau with technology, injecting new power into the ancient border. This is not only a man's border-guarding epic, but also a woman's hymn of devotion. While the husband is guarding the country with his body, the wife is guarding her home with her youth. As the years go by, from horseback to drones, from lonely persistence to the admiration of all, what remains unchanged is the feelings of family and country flowing in the blood of this family, and the gentle but firm female power. When the three generations finally stood together in front of Tiananmen, looking up at the five-star red flag in the morning light, the wind and snow in Pamir echoed the rising sun in Beijing, and behind this reunion of family and country stood every wife and mother who had given silently. The snow-capped mountains are silent, witnessing loyalty; the national flag flutters, shining and watching. Mountains and rivers are safe because some people write protection into their lives; years are quiet because some people integrate mission into their blood, and some people turn love into the cornerstone.
