Shanghai Fireflies Guarding the Frontier

A valiant woman from Shanghai joins a cybersecurity squad. Four gentle blades guard the borders, vowing to safeguard China's online culture and keep it safe.

As tourism in Xinjiang booms, the Shanghai State Security Bureau selects four women of different ethnicities, ages, and professions to form a special task force focused on cybersecurity. Their mission is to foster ethnic unity, show Xinjiang as it truly is, clean up the online environment, protect the people's real interests, and capture suspects in unsolved cases. While supporting Xinjiang and protecting its cybersecurity, they develop an indescribable rapport. They are the best and most loyal partners, and also a family unlike any other.

Together, they protect and defend cybersecurity, safeguard national security and development, and preserve ethnic unity. They gain a great deal from this precious experience, discovering that life can begin anew in another, more meaningful way. And there, I am not just myself. I am also a firefly defending my country. Though faint, I can still shine as brightly as day. [Cybersecurity Protection] [Female Ensemble Across Multiple Age Groups] [Professional Life]
