The Scrolls of Tan Leaves

[Meticulous, Vividly Colored Art Student x Doctor of Ancient Oracle Bone Script]

In the late Tang dynasty, craftsman Kang Wenjing mastered mechanical devices and bookbinding. After losing all those dear to him, he let his original Tan-page binding technique disappear. A thousand years later, art student Fan Ci'en and oracle bone script scholar Tang Fan piece together scant clues in ancient books and bring this fleeting beauty back to life.

Through Tan-page binding, their dialogue across a thousand years offers a glimpse into the ways people lived and the history of the past.

Dedicated to passing on the beauty of traditional Eastern craftsmanship, they hope to introduce more people to China's rich and profound history and culture, and take their work beyond the country's borders to a wider world.
