Honghuang: I Carry the Divine Tree to Mend Honghuang

The calamity between Dao and demon came to an end, Luo Hou destroyed himself, the Purple Heavens Palace opened its lectures, and the sages of the primordial world vied to cross the threshold to sainthood.

Lin Yan's true form was the Primordial Sevenfold Balance Divine Tree. One body split in two, manifesting a Dao incarnation who became a close friend and fellow cultivator of Zhen Yuanzi.

Having witnessed the chaos of cultivation throughout the primordial world, he saw that all beings knew only how to seize the world's blessings and hoard the Dao's resonance. Spiritual energy grew increasingly depleted, the earth's ley lines were damaged, and hidden dangers of a great calamity began to stir.

He reversed the source of the Sevenfold Dao Fruit, abandoning its power to improve innate aptitude and preserving only the principle of returning all living things to their origin. Using the divine tree as a channel, he subtly imbued the newly born creatures of the primordial world with this principle. When all beings died, their origins would return to their source and nourish the world, gradually repairing the foundations of the primordial realm.

The three lectures in the Purple Heavens Palace, the fated meditation cushions, King Father of the East's struggle for power, the Three Pure Ones attaining the Dao, the Empress Wa creating humanity, the impending rise of the Wu and the demons...

While others fought for the seats of the sages, seized spiritual treasures, and battled over fortune, Lin Yan merely upheld balance and pursued the return to origin. Amid Hongjun's heavenly mandate, he forged a path to the Dao: one that would complete the Heavenly Dao and bring balance to all living beings.
