Slaying the Void

The Qianye Sect established the Dao, its radiance shining through the ages.

Once a mighty orthodox sect towering among the nine heavens, the Qianye Sect had a legacy spanning a thousand years and countless experts. Its supreme treasure, the Void-Slaying Mace, was the very foundation of the sect's glory.

When the ancient demonic tide swept across the universe and countless sects fell apart, the Sect Master of Qianye wielded the Void-Slaying Mace, striking once to shatter illusions and crush the demon abyss. The blow routed the main force of the outer demons and protected the spiritual leyline of the Central Lands. During the ancient immortal wars, as heroes rose on every side, the mace displayed its might once more, shattering the spatial array of the renegade ancient cultivators in a battle in the heavens and determining the order of the Dao across the land.

Every mottled mark on the mace was the imprint of a world-shaking battle. A single swing could split space and shatter laws. As time passed, the glory of the past faded, and the Qianye Sect's splendor was obscured. The Void-Slaying Mace fell silent in the sect's forbidden grounds.

When a young man of a later age steps into the ruined mountain gate and touches this ancient mace, which bears the legacy of the entire sect's glory, the legend of the Qianye Sect may awaken once more.
