Journey to the West: I Start by Swearing Brotherhood with the Monkey

Zhang Chen transmigrates to another world and spends ten years honing his martial arts, eventually becoming the greatest fighter in the State of He! Then he sees a monkey. He is completely stunned!

After checking again and again, he confirms it's the stone monkey from Flower-Fruit Mountain in Aolai Kingdom, Eastern Divine Continent, here in search of immortality.

"Little brother, I came from Flower-Fruit Mountain. Do you know where I can find an immortal?"

I've practiced martial arts for years, and you're asking me where to find an immortal? This is the world of Journey to the West? So all that training was for nothing? I'm just an ordinary mortal, no stronger than an ant. Actually, even an ant that had cultivated into a spirit would be stronger than me!

"Well... I'm just about to go seek an immortal and become his disciple myself. Why don't we go together?"

"Excellent, excellent!" He scratches his head and cheeks. "Let's go together, together!"

The monkey says, "How about we become sworn brothers?"

Zhang Chen says, "Sure! Sure! Sure!"

"We may not have been born on the same day, month, and year, but may we die on the same day, month, and year!"

Brother Monkey, when the underworld officials come to cross names off the Book of Life and Death, remember to cross mine off too!

The Great Sage Equal to Heaven says, "Oh? Heh heh, there's plenty of peaches. Zhang Chen, little brother, take it easy, don't eat so fast. I've already immobilized the Seven Fairies."

"Huh? Then what the heck am I eating peaches for?"

The Great Sage Equal to Heaven says, "Hey, Zhang Chen, little brother, want me to include you in my Havoc in Heaven?"

"No, really, that's not necessary."

[Strongest System] Can block the workings of fate, preventing the Three Realms from divining anything about Zhang Chen.
