The Exiled Knight

The crown changed hands, and the court was swept clean. Maldin, captain of the Bloodhand Knights, was falsely accused of treason, stripped of his title, and driven into exile. After spending half his life fighting for his country, he became a pawn cast aside in a struggle for power. Sick of hollow loyalty and the shackles of court politics, he resolved to leave behind both his former glory and its burdens. Banished from the royal city, he was free of the royal family’s control at last. All he wanted was to live as he pleased and enjoy what remained of his life. Thus began the wandering life of the once-renowned knight who had defended his country, now bound by nothing.
