The Ten Divine Weapons: The Nine Heavens Mystic Jade Parasol

In the year 1380 of the Divine Era, the martial world flourishes under two great powers. Carefree Valley accepts only male disciples, while Hundred Flowers Valley takes in only female disciples. Renowned throughout the land, the two valleys draw on the strengths of countless schools of martial arts, formations, and strategy to keep the fractured martial world in check. In an age of endless slaughter and bloodshed, Han Xinyue, the master of Hundred Flowers Valley, exhausts her lifelong cultivation to forge ten legendary divine weapons for her ten beloved disciples. It is said that when the weapons appear, they will bring an end to a century of chaos in the martial world.

Each of the ten divine weapons has unique properties, with no two alike. At the top of the list is the Nine Heavens Mysterious Jade Parasol, wielded by Gu Qingcheng. The other nine weapons belong to her fellow disciples, each forged from different materials and possessing distinct martial traits. Armed with these treasures, the ten disciples of Hundred Flowers Valley make names for themselves amid the turmoil. The righteous call them the “Ten Beauties,” while the wicked fear them as the “Ten Demonesses.”

The ten great families of the martial world are all led by women, whose influence reaches across the court and the martial world. The ten sisters share deep bonds and stand united, harboring no grudges or resentment toward one another. This book is the first main story in the upper volume of the Ten Divine Weapons series. It centers on Gu Qingcheng, the youngest disciple and wielder of the Nine Heavens Mysterious Jade Parasol, the foremost of the ten divine weapons, as its sole heroine, alongside her dedicated male lead. Hundred Flowers Valley takes center stage, with Carefree Valley in a supporting role. They stand by the sword and use the parasol to bring peace to the world.

Rooted in the classic martial-world tradition, the story adds a touch of fantasy through the divine weapons. It follows the ten sisters and their ten divine weapons as they venture through a chaotic age, quell the turmoil of the martial world, and balance the conflicts between the righteous and the wicked, ultimately bringing the age of chaos to an end before retiring together. Their heroic tale lays the groundwork for the complete world of the martial arts that will feature in the later installments of the Ten Divine Weapons series.
