Everyone says that the world's resources are extremely limited: if you have enough, I can't have enough. In the world of wizards, every contest is a zero-sum game. So every wizard does everything they can to seize resources, resorting to all manner of wicked methods. So all wizards are evil. But Luo Ang doesn't see it that way. He believes that what limits wizards isn't the resources themselves, but how efficiently they use them. What the wizarding world lacks isn't resources, but ways to use and distribute them wisely. So the contests between wizards don't have to be zero-sum games at all. Wizards can absolutely achieve a win-win. Wizards really don't have to be evil.
