Welcome to Golden Egg Restaurant. There’s no set story here. Every dish is a golden egg waiting to be cracked open. Turn to the first page of this book, and you’ll find a set of dining rules. But remember, half of them are lies. You’re like a diner, choosing dishes from the menu and turning to the corresponding page to crack open a golden egg. You can follow the rules, or break them as you please. Blank pages, runaway golden eggs, notes from the chef, and “it,” appearing here and there: strange events, both real and unreal, will follow one after another. There are no ghosts out to claim your life, only pranks long in the making. Every strange tale here is meant to play a trick on you, the reader. Be careful, and don’t let the book lead you in circles.
