Paranormal Containment Specialist

I transmigrated into the cultivation world. While everyone else practiced Qi, I ran into ghosts. The spiritual energy here is toxic, giving rise to “rule-bound horrors”: if you hear crying, you must hold your breath; if you see someone in red, never look a third time; if a knock sounds seven times at midnight, you will die... Ordinary spells are completely useless, and even mighty cultivators die helplessly. Me, a former archivist at a folklore museum, looked at the [Archive of Anomalous Containment] awakening in my mind and smiled. As the entire sect neared extinction amid the “Midnight Knocks,” while the elders burned their Nascent Souls to hold on, I calmly walked up to the door. “The rule is wrong.” “It isn't ‘whoever opens the door dies.’” “The real rule is: ‘After the seventh knock, the one breathing the loudest dies.’” I successfully contained my first anomaly. And so the cultivation world changed: A Sword Immortal begged me, “Fellow Daoist, how do I escape this domain where turning around means certain death?” The Demon Venerable knelt before me. “Master, the reflection in the mirror has replaced our holy maiden. Please save her!” But deep in the archives, [Containment Object-0001], the first anomaly to cause the spiritual energy's mutation, was slowly awakening. It said, Welcome to... the true Age of Terror.
