The Daughter from 2035

“Mom, you’ll die in an ‘accident’ ten years from now. The killer is someone you’re going to meet next week.” Su Wan, a 24-year-old corporate drone, is suddenly clung to desperately on the subway by a girl who claims to be from 2035. The girl pulls out a yellowed exam paper, and the parent’s signature is unmistakably Su Wan’s handwriting from the future. Even more terrifying, the “killer” the girl warned her about is Lu Huaishen, the business tycoon she has to win over next week to secure a contract. Determined to change her tragic fate, Su Wan begins to turn her life around with her daughter’s “future intel” to guide her. She uses foreknowledge of trade secrets to turn small investments into big gains, and wows everyone with concepts from future technology, gradually tearing away the bloody rules hidden beneath the glittering surface. But when she finally comes face-to-face with Lu Huaishen, her daughter tearfully reveals another truth: “Mom, I didn’t come back just to save you... I came to save him, too.” Two timelines. Three lives. This rescue was doomed from the start.
