I Use Science to Explain Immortal Cultivation

After transmigrating into a cultivation world, Lin Yuan was demoted to a menial job in the alchemy workshop because of his impure spiritual roots. While everyone else struggled to comprehend the ethereal Heavenly Dao, he quietly brought out his own set of “heretical theories.” Pills keep blowing up the furnace? He pushed up his nonexistent glasses. “The spiritual energy particles are out of redox balance. I recommend adjusting the formula ratio to 3.1416:1.618.” Can't figure out the formation? He wrote out a string of differential equations on the spot. “The energy flow through the formation's core is periodically interrupted. Solve this function and efficiency will increase by 300%.” When a Nascent Soul patriarch failed his tribulation and lamented that fate could not be defied, Lin Yuan worked through the night to submit a report titled “A Feasibility Study on Safely Directing Tribulation Lightning Using Plasma Confinement Technology.” Then, at the immortal sect tournament, as a peerless genius summoned the Nine Heavens' Profound Lightning, Lin Yuan sighed and produced an iron ball whose orbital parameters he had carefully calculated. “According to the law of universal gravitation and the formula for second cosmic velocity...” He looked up at the stunned immortals filling the arena. “I told you, cultivation has to follow the fundamental laws.” In my eyes, the Great Dao of this world is nothing but a truth that can be deconstructed with equations.
