Law of Spiritual Eclipse

In this worldview, "supernatural phenomena" are not caused by ghosts, but a manifestation of the underlying rules of the universe. The laws, morals, and physical laws of human society are only "surface rules" in the macroscopic universe; while supernatural events are the ripples caused by the deeper "underlying rules" that occasionally break through the boundaries and cause ripples in the surface world.
