Weird Archaeological Notes

There is a "source of pollution" from ancient times in the world. It is not matter or energy, but a "wrong rule." People who come into contact with it will witness indescribable horrors, gradually suffer mental breakdown and transform into monsters. The protagonist is the only one who can "read" and "understand" this pollution, and gain strength from it without going crazy.
