Eastern Hunter: 1988

Chen Xiaomo, the "rising star" in the police world, encountered an accident while investigating a cold case that spanned decades. When he woke up, he found that he had traveled to the world of the 1988 American TV series "Hunter" and became a Chinese-American police detective in the Los Angeles Police Department. In this era full of retro style, underdeveloped technology but rampant crime, Chen Xiaomo must use his advanced criminal investigation knowledge and vague memory of the plot to win trust between the suspicious old-school detective Hunter and the shrewd and capable McCall. Not only does he have to face an endless stream of criminals, he also has to deal with the vague racial prejudice within the Los Angeles Police Department in the 1980s, and find a balance between changing history and adhering to his duties.
