Book review by a 12-year-old bookworm
Save money: Evaluation B, system text, kill people and buy goods to accumulate cultivation qualifications, continue after upgrading, the background is the world of cannibalistic immortality. In the first few dozen chapters, the world of cultivating immortals is described as orderly in chaos, with the weak eating the strong, which is a bit ironic of reality. This is one of its characteristics. The protagonist has a second uncle who loves him, which is the second characteristic. The rest is essentially the same as Dou Po Cang Qiong ten years ago. It is nothing more than killing people and buying goods, practicing and upgrading, being flattered by others and being underestimated by others, pretending to be pigs and eating tigers. The biggest problem with this theme of cannibalism and cultivating immortals is that it cannot develop peacefully. For the poor people at the bottom, the environment is harsh, so the cultivation of immortals must be introduced into the system. When the system is introduced, it is easy to overdo it, and the world will collapse if it is left open. There is also this kind of excitement through layers of cheating. In fact, after a few rounds of stimulation, readers will become numb. The old bookworm is more interested in the structure of the world of cultivating immortals. Only by showing the world and allowing readers to gain pleasure from curiosity can there be no limit.
The mountain spirits and wild monsters in this book have the atmosphere of a black myth, and the "Taylor"-style character design of the uncle is very realistic. The people who enter the Fairyland on the same boat have their own tragic fate, similar to the people who smuggled into Hong Kong in the 1960s and 1970s, thinking that Hong Kong was full of gold, but in fact the people who smuggled there were regarded as human smugglers. Selling, a secular seeker comes to Xiuxianfang City with great hope, but is eventually eaten without even the bones left. Unlike other books, the protagonist has no idea of changing the fate of others and respects their own destiny. It returns to the theme of classical fairy tale novels in the Chinese fairy tale class using fantasy novels to write about reality.
Book review
The first volume of self-knowledge↓ ☀️
Just a rant, personal opinion.
First of all, the advantages are obvious Every unit is connected naturally. The author has strong writing skills. The atmosphere and visuals of each unit plot are also very strong. It allows you to be instantly drawn into and understand the world of immortality from the very beginning. Just by looking at it, you can understand what a web article at the level of "food and grass" should look like. Then, this is where I personally feel a bit regretful. I don't know if it's my imagination. Looking at it, I feel that I can smell a variant of Long Aotian wearing the skin of a fairy (although not as invincible and stallion), which is a bit strange. No one else can achieve the same thing, but the protagonist can. The same goes for every time you encounter a crisis. Every time the author wields the big stick of "crisis". You thought he was going to give the protagonist a hard blow. But the result is always a gentle pat on the protagonist. The consequences are completely painless. Even after the protagonist resisted slightly. He will also come up with various reasons to coax his children. I would also like to declare that his child is good at blocking. And I will also add a follow-up explanation, why is it good at blocking? (But you have to really look forward to seeing how the author praises his children, but he doesn't speak again.) This causes the sense of crisis to suddenly disappear before it fully arises, making each unit plot feel a little bit anticlimactic. This makes me feel a sense of regret about this story when I read it. The author always has a tangled feeling when arranging the protagonist's plot, "I am afraid that the protagonist will suffer hardship, but I am also afraid that the protagonist will drive a Land Rover". (This is where the problem lies. The protagonist neither drives a Land Rover nor suffers hardships, so what should I watch?) The overall style of the plot is hesitant and stuck in an awkward place, relying entirely on the author's writing to move forward. But you won't be able to run far if you run like this. On the contrary, there is a risk of dragging down the frame.
A 500-word long review, representing only my personal views
Now that I see it, I would like to express my personal views, which only represent my personal views. The author's first few books can be regarded as adding some personalized new ideas into the traditional framework of cultivating immortality, which I think is unsatisfactory. This book designed the setting of Jiumai. I had great expectations for it at first, but now, I am still very disappointed. The protagonist wants a golden elixir, but the basic situation of each vein is not shown, and the characteristics of each vein are not outstanding. For example, what the protagonist practices is to refine Gu insects and add a little incantation. In traditional cultivation, these are just two skills. It does not reflect this systematic discipline that a cultivator needs to study all his life. Instead, it is simple and crude. For the first level, use first-level insects, and for the second level, use second-level insects. To give another example, it is set in the book that thunder method can also be regarded as a lineage of immortal science. This seems even more strange, as if the linear equation of two variables is regarded as an independent subject. Or the setting of the secret text. In the novice stage, this secret text seemed very important and mysterious, but now that the plot has advanced, the secret text is almost invisible. It feels like the two parts of the whole book are spliced together, very separate. In general, the whole book has a clear upswing and a downturn. The plot before the protagonist enters Qi training has more setting details, and you can feel the uniqueness of the setting. The further the plot goes, the less information there is, and the more it becomes homogeneous with the mass of people cultivating immortals. In layman's terms, it is just water. I still hope that the author can write well, so that the author can get better results and we readers can also see better content. But judging from the published content, I suspect that the author has not polished the plot at all, and what he releases at the rate of one update a day is pure water.
Book review
Cuckoo Liao, the author of "The Immortal Heretic" This author is really good at writing absurd stories about monsters and immortals. The opening chapter shows the protagonist disguised as a monster and entering a monster restaurant. The pig monster makes noodles with intestinal tapeworms, the lizard monster chops off its own tail and sells it, and the sheep woman competes with the fox woman for customers. In this world, mortals are transformed into animals by monsters using the "Animal Creation Method" to be slaughtered for food. In order to get a spiritual stone, a seeker has to go to the "Huixuetang" to sell blood for money. Even a Taoist boy has to jump into a pile of poisonous insects to "survive" in order to survive. If he fails, he will be disabled for life. The protagonist Fang Shu has no special talents or system plug-ins. He starts with a copy of "The Secret Technique of Refining Blood and Nurturing Health by Hundred Insects" and a Taoist instrument, and climbs up from the bottom step by step. How can there be equality in the path to immortality? It's just a business of exchanging lives for calamity and blood for resources. The second uncle fell from the fairy family and sold his blood all year round in order to support Fang Shu's cultivation, and finally became a low-level slave; the protagonist had to survive the tribulation and had to hunt monsters and even similar creatures, and the struggle between Taoist heart and demonic nature runs through the whole story. The human leg bacon hanging in the monster hall, the human blood with clearly marked prices in the market, the "Long Tongue Sword" fed by the protagonist with essence blood... Weird and exciting
Book review
This book is currently my favorite book on the bookshelf among fairy tale readers. The beginning of the slaying of monsters is the most exciting. First, there is a place where strange monsters gather. The protagonist takes action provocatively, mixed with the youthful spirit and the righteousness of defending humanity. It is extraordinary. The literary sense and artistic conception are the best so far. Transitioning to a small town, the good thing is that the second uncle Yule spares no effort to help the protagonist, and finally it is no longer a scene of cheating on each other. The five people in the same boat with different fates reflect the dark and cruel background, and also highlight the preciousness of family love and the highlight of the protagonist. The characters created by the training in Dugu Hall are not flat. Qin Baoer and Xiao Hu have their own other sides, and no major poisonous points were found. The progress of cultivation in the Five Zang Temple is stable, and the golden finger is not opened too wide. The protagonist has always been benevolent and righteous, very lovable.
Why can't we update a few chapters during the Chinese New Year? 😓
The Chinese New Year is the time when brothers have a little money, so why can't they release a few more chapters? 😒😒😒 The biggest problem with this book right now is that it is too tedious, and a copy of Breaking the Secret Realm drags on! The protagonist is here, almost three hundred chapters in, and has not yet established a foundation or left the mini-map. If it were updated normally according to the previous situation, there would be no problem, but now the book is going downhill. Doesn't the author feel it? Now is the time to speed up the pace, improve the protagonist's strength, and open new maps. Otherwise, this book will just follow the same path as the first two books and be dragged to death by garbage chapters. Alas... What a pity...😅😅😅
Book review
The beginning is as well written as ever, and Uncle Yu Le runs through it. From Fairy Town to Wu Zang Temple, the layout of the stories is extremely regular. Grasp the story of each realm, and the combat power will be more balanced and rigorous. Fang Xian is a heretic, although the title of the book is not as domineering as the previous two books. Because of the string of stories, the price will be equal to 20,000 to 30,000 yuan. Come on! The mid-term story string must be stable. Xiaobu and Toad are both good at writing and setting. As long as each story is stable and does not fall apart in the middle and later stages, it will be above average!
Shennong is coming
Let's put the summary at the beginning: the overall score is about 7 points It is about 80% of traditional belt training + 20% of anti-routine breakthroughs and world view splicing If you have read a Qigong book, then this one may only have 6 points There is not much to say about the training stage, it is very classic, golden finger, starting in poverty, practicing martial arts hard, forbearing until success, stepping into the cultivation of immortals, slapping people in the face to pretend to be cool, while the protagonist secretly kills people and seizes treasures, etc. These are all well-established formulas, and the author has not changed much here. Hua Keshuo Before I talk about the author's anti-routine points, I would like to especially say that the first few chapters of this book are really good. I personally think it can even be rated 9 points. Unfortunately, as you go to the back, it becomes more obvious that the formula is very serious and you don't have many ideas. , It is becoming more and more common The anti-routine part is the beginning and the world view. The beginning is definitely worth reading. There are not many world views at the moment, but it still shows that the author has the ingenuity, which is a highlight
Book review
I'm here to fight for the title of fan The first thing I saw at the beginning was Xian Lu Xu Dao, and I set a benchmark and said yes. In the past, I also read Cultivation of Immortality, including the Five Steps of the Mortal Ear and Roots, but they all seemed to be either smooth or painful or enjoyable. I always feel that there is no strange sense of sight. After watching Xian Lu, I found the visual sense of the small picture of the caged country, as well as the picture of the three masters walking on the mountains and sea scrolls (it's a pity that I don't have the talent for painting or I still want to draw it). Then there was the Immortal Cage. Yu Lie was very happy to see it. If he didn't seek immortality, why could he be a head higher than others? It's just that the Immortal Cage was set behind Chaos Realm (after all, I was just a student party with no income). During this period, I also went to see the Xianchan family. Xianjia is fully booked but I haven't finished it yet. However, Fang Xian's heresy is really interesting, and he has forwarded it and recommended it to his classmates. I also have a monthly book review ticket. Check me out. I want to participate in the drawing of lots. I hope I can write more slowly this time and not end too hastily. O. O
Book Review [Writing] The sentences in Cuckoo Talk are short and hard, like the back of a knife being slapped directly on the chopping board: there are no long lyrical paragraphs, and few idioms are piled up. Instead, verbs and nouns are mostly used, and the sense of the picture relies on the cold images of "blood", "bone" and "oil". The advantage is that it is fast-paced and murderous, and drags people into the pit one sentence after another; the disadvantage is that the mood is narrow, and it will easily become numb after reading for a long time, like chewing ten peppercorns in a row, and the tongue will lose its sense of taste. [Advantages] 1. The setting is ruthless: split "cultivating immortality" into "refining yourself into medicine". You have to cut yourself every time you upgrade to a level. The cool thing is not to upgrade, but "where else can you cut". 2. Folklore inventory is sufficient: Chenzhou Fu, Miaojiang Gu, Mojin Xiaowei, Zhenhe Tieniu... The author seems to have thrown "Yi Jian Zhi" and "Xiangxi Witchcraft Investigation" into the shredder together, and then put them together into a new puzzle. The information density is high, and unpopular easter eggs can be found in every chapter. 3. The protagonist does not have double standards: Fang Shu says he is "willing to save all sentient beings", but his actions are worse than the villain's. The author does not whitewash him and allows readers to react on their own. This kind of "dirty protagonist" is a rare animal at the beginning. [Disadvantages] 1. The female characters are instrumentalized: three female nuns appear, one is responsible for donating the eyes, one is responsible for donating the heart, and the third is responsible for donating the body. They are thrown away after use, like spare organs in the surgical tray.
Congratulations to Lao Bu, I'm so happy that it's on the shelves. I'm giving you a monthly pass to express my sincerity.

Does the author update one chapter a day?
Book review
The characters in this book are described in detail, and each small character has a story behind him. He is not a simple supporting character, but sometimes more like a living person. The portrayal of the uncle is the most outstanding. When I first watched it, I thought he was like a loving uncle, but later I realized that he was actually too poor and had taken simple family love to the extreme. The only drawback is that there are few updates.
Beg
Thank you for your help
Your writing is not bad, the background design of the story is even more brilliant, and the construction of the power system is also ingenious, but I beg you not to write about conspiracies and conspiracies anymore. There are several books in succession. You should understand that your intelligence is just a charm. If you have time to build conspiracy, you might as well use it to take risks, fight monsters, and take drugs to upgrade. These are your strengths.
Have you ever practiced immortality? Some things are scribbled and taken for granted.
Brief chat
I have read some of the books in the Cuckoo Fairy series. The one that impressed me the most was probably the one hundred or so pictures of the Immortal Barrel. The scene where the Taoist priests eating Taoist priests at the White Bone Temple was shocking. I also read some of the subsequent books, but I didn't really have the urge to finish them. This new book has nothing before. My uncle's true love for his nephew was really interesting. It's very comfortable. It's something I haven't found in the previous books. The previous ones were too pure of a world of cannibalism. I read the new book from the first page to the latest chapter in one go. I'm still not satisfied. But at least the main mission is completed (if I had known I would have read it 2 days later, I could directly see the uncle fished out 😃). In short, the new book is very good. I will keep reading. Come on.
A brief overview of Cuckoo Talk novels
It always starts out amazing, but then collapses to the point where you can't watch it directly. Xianlu describes the decline and evolution of the world. Before the decline of the world of Xianlu, it was divided into two areas by supreme magic power. The protagonist lives in a declining area and wants to open up a new world to escape from the secret realm (fairy garden). He is helped by Huang Tianzhi (opened) to do good deeds Whether it is the clever and wise judgment in the White Bone Mountain, or the orphans of the six tribes who are summoned to enter the Taoist temple, or the truth and destruction of the fairy garden, and then falling into the real declining area of the world... All these things have the style of the originator of a new genre. Even the subsequent description of the Gray Snake Grass line, another healthy world area arranged with supreme mana in advance, is very imaginative. But in the end this article ended in a hurry. I thought it was a pity at the time, but to this day, I feel that the hasty ending was a good one, otherwise it might have been too disastrous to watch, which would have affected the memory of the good plot and story of the book. The second book also has a great start, it is like an immortal It completes the training details of the basic level of the Xianlong Taoist priest. At first glance, it feels like the old movie "Qi Men Dun Jia". It is based on removing poison and eliminating evil (opening) and writing about all the monsters and monsters. The early style was bold and novel, using the Soviet-style cooperative style to explain the strange world and human nature. Fortunately, the author was Big Brother's younger brother. In the meantime, the Gray Snake Grass plot reveals the magical power of Taoist priests, who conquer small worlds at every turn, and there are references to wizard novels and the like. However, the Taoist priest's dignity is introduced in the new chapter, but there is still a big enemy. Where is the big enemy? Taoist thief! This leads to the main line, the main line is, how respected is the Taoist priest. Therefore, I want to integrate modern phenomena, hey, Meituan, hey, capital into the world of this book to show the dignity and nobility of Taoist priests. However, if I fail to draw a tiger If I fail to draw a tiger, this book fails. The third book, Immortal Family I have to say that the opening three chapters, no, the opening thirty chapters, are all at their peak. The main theme of this book is that Tao has been far away from the heavenly official and earthly Cao, and has gradually strayed away from the human way. Tao wants to get close to the underworld, and get close to ghosts. Man is the spirit of all things. In view of this realm, he wants to get close to the underworld. The way of human cultivation is booming, and a new cultivation system appears in this article. But it collapsed after eighty chapters, as if it should collapse The book failed again I just don't know how the new book will be
Shock! There are more than one million words, and most of the comments section praise it.
Most of the people who complained also complained about slow updates. Has he really taken this step? !
What time is it?
I have followed several of your novels in the past few days, and the quality is very good. Chinese people's cultivation of immortality is to combine the methods of cultivation in traditional Taoist theory. The three golden chapters are perfect. I have some small suggestions that I hope the author will think carefully about. The game will always collapse in the middle and later stages because a very abrupt new world suddenly opens up, which is not good. You are very energetic in the early and mid-term, and you can slowly open the map, from towns to mountains to prefectures and counties to famous mountains and rivers. Finally, Taoist masters in different parts of the world are good at different things. Also, you need to pay attention to the fact that switching between maps is relatively stiff. As for the practice of high-level monks, don't copy the old-fashioned way of dealing with gods. This set is not suitable for your article. Please think carefully about your own way. You can focus on the exploration of world rules such as yin and yang, avenues, etc. If you really can't write the post-stage, you might as well write longer in the mid-term, lengthen the timeline, and improve the overall quality. Your post-processing is really too uncomfortable, and it often changes beyond recognition. Breaking through and breaking through yourself, the master of enlightenment is only in your one or two parts, and I hope you can encourage me.
Better than before.
Starting from the first book, all the books written by this author are basically based on the first map. The plot and characters are very good and stable. Then they gradually collapse after the first map is released. By the middle of the second map, they become unreadable. For example, "The Immortal Cage" "I think the beginning and the first map of Heishui Town are the best among all the books written by the author. It can be seen even in Fairy City. However, when it comes to the subsequent sect maps, it plummets. Later, it becomes a stallion story. It's not that I can't accept stallions, but you can't turn the main plot into a stallion directly. As for this book, it is not rotten yet, but there is a trend. The author always likes to write some innocuous and gaudy fragments, and even directly inserts a large section of this kind of plot into the main plot. The key writing is still very bad, and I skipped most of them. Fortunately, this book is restrained, and the impact on the main plot is not particularly big. It is still worth reading. I just hope that the author will not follow in his footsteps. I also posted a complaint in "Fairy Cage" before, but it has been deleted. I don't know if this will be the same.
Author, how did you end up with so many unfinished books? The more I write, the more popular it becomes.
The future is promising
It can be seen that the author has made progress. The shortcoming of Xianlong is that people who watch the emotional drama are very constipated. In the early stage, there was a female protagonist who was even unavailable. After the collapse, she continued to write and kept changing the map. It can be said that it is a bad ending (better than The Eunuch). The advantage is that the first The unique method of skin peeling and cramping to improve one's realm, coupled with the author's sophisticated writing full of classical fairy flavor, the descriptions of various magic techniques and the characteristics of the mountains and seas are really amazing in the early stage. Unfortunately, after the protagonist reaches a higher realm in the later stage, these fairy-like descriptions become less and less. ,,(,),,,, Although the patriarch was set up by his father, he did sacrifice himself for the continuation of the family, which was quite impressive. It seems that the source of Gold Finger Little Gourd has not been explained at the end (or is it explained but I forgot?), And it can be seen that the pace of the later period is very fast, whether it is a realm breakthrough or plot development, but what is better than Xianlong is that it ends when it should be completed, and does not forcefully write it down. It is also an ending that cannot control the rhythm but does not force a continuation. The story ends directly. The beginning of this book is as attractive as ever. The alternative description of "immortal families" in classical cultivation of immortals is still a feature of Cuckoo Talk. It can be seen that the author has a rich knowledge base in this area. Because most authors do not have this kind of writing style and writing skills, they can only pretend to be classical fairy tales, but there is too much nonsense. Unique spells, breakthrough methods, and background settings have always been Cuckoo Talk's strengths. Unfortunately, this book has restrained itself a lot in terms of breakthrough methods. The first few books of Peeling Skin, Cramping, Broken Bones and Hanging Sky Lanterns still left a deep impression on people. The descriptions of the supporting characters, if not lifelike, at least have flesh and blood. There are immortals who give sermons to little demons without asking for anything in return, and there are also "immortal cultivators" who do whatever it takes to achieve immortality. There is still no problem with the rhythm at the moment. I also hope that the author will think about the outline carefully and stop thinking about writing a long story, so the combat power is slowly improved in the early stage (compared to the later stage, if it is a normal long story, the combat power will not be a problem). As a result, the combat power collapses in the later stage and breaks through several levels at once. Another point where the author has improved is that the combat power system is unconventional. It is not only different from the popular immortality novels on the market (I don't mean to say that those combat power systems are bad, but the unique system is more impressive). The combat power system of the three books is generally different. The Cage is a system of Taoist seal scripts that are fed by seal scripts, and the Immortal Family is a system of ghosts and gods that nourish gods and ghosts (it is very similar to the immortals in the Immortal Cage who turn into ghosts and gods after death, and it should come from here). The name of this Fangxian heretic book is very obvious. It is a Fangshu heretic, and each book has different points of view. You can take a look at the author to conceive the outline carefully, and not to raise the protagonist's hands a few times when the head is hot, causing the protagonist to deviate from the outline, as long as the rhythm does not collapse in the middle and later stages, he will really become a great master. But to be honest, the progress is quite obvious. From the fairy cage's dog-tailed continuation of Diao's ending, to the fairy family's problem, it was not forced to be written down but gave a complete plot development and a direct ending (ordinary bad ending). At least it is getting better. I hope that the author will get better and better, and his control of rhythm will be improved. After all, I personally like classical cultivation of immortality, and the author's writing is quite attractive to me. I still can't bear to leave the writing style and story of Cuckoo Talk after two unfinished books. Ps: I quite like the poems that the protagonist of each book written by the author recites after making progress in cultivation.
Although the little rabbit demon is very good, please don't mention it in an understatement or say in an indifferent tone: Oh, that rabbit demon who always said that his lover was a big monster has died long ago 💔
Book review: The counter-routine in the strange fairy tale "Fang Xian Heretic"
When I was searching for books at Qidian, I came across "Fang Xian Heretic". I originally had the mentality of casually reading it, but I was directly hooked to read the updated chapters. This is probably the so-called "unpopular treasure". It has no flashy gimmicks, but relies on solid settings and interesting narratives to give the weird fairy tale a different flavor. The author's world view of Xihuzhou is very poignant: it is not the fairy tales in traditional immortality novels, but a chaotic place where humans and demons live together and is surrounded by dangers. The road to immortality is wrapped in the smell of blood, and the struggles of the monks at the bottom are so real that people can sympathize with them. But this "weirdness" is full of contrasts. The protagonist Fang Shu doesn't take the usual path. He wears conspicuous black hair and breaks into the monster building with a yellow gourd. He uses the method of "pretending to be crazy and acting stupid" to break the situation. The joke with the monster "Brothers, I am satisfied with how I am" not only resolves the tension, but also establishes his cunning and down-to-earth character. It reads particularly visually. The rhythm of the plot is well controlled, there is no lengthy foreshadowing, and each chapter has a small climax: seeing through the illusion and killing the demon, unlocking the new ability of the mountain and sea fairy, and the family interaction with the down-and-out second uncle. The excitement and warmth are just right. The most rare thing is the author's writing style, which is cold and stern with a hint of smoke and fire. The strange scenes in the monster building are not deliberately exaggerated to exaggerate the horror. The protagonist's cleverness is not exaggerated. The core setting of "refining oneself as medicine and nourishing one's body as bait" is both novel and self-consistent, giving the entire system of cultivating immortals a unique identity. Compared with those routine articles on cultivating immortals, "Fang Xian Heretic" is more "fresh". The monster is not a stereotyped villain, with silly operations and careful thoughts; the protagonist is not a cool text template that cheats all the way, with struggles and calculations; even the supporting characters have their own stories, making the whole world appear three-dimensional and interesting. It is indeed a surprise to discover such a work during the book shortage, and it is worth updating. I sincerely recommend it to friends who like anti-routine fairy tales. I also hope to get the title of the event so that more people can discover this good work~
Why don't you write short stories? You can't handle long stories.
