Chinese Showbiz: Why Are His Special Effects So Different?

When Zhou Qing woke once again at the dawn of a familiar yet unfamiliar new millennium, he hadn't planned to return to the entertainment industry. He intended to use the unique talent he possessed in this life to create a whole new era in a world that was familiar yet unfamiliar, one where traditional martial arts thrived.

But after going around in circles, he realized that the path he had forged still needed the entertainment industry, and he plunged into that great melting pot once again.

“This time will be different!”

So said a man who had once met a tragic end at a lover's hands.

“The three-no rule isn't enough? Then how about adding this?!”

As Zhou Qing watched beautiful women of every kind crowding around him, from curvy to slender, with golden hair and blue eyes, he simply closed his eyes.

“Let the storm rage even harder!”

“Mr. Zhou, you are an acclaimed genius director, the leading figure of the New Wave in cinema, a super-tech inventor, and a business magnate. You are even revered as the only banished immortal in the world to cultivate immortality, and as the man who single-handedly crushed the martial arts worlds of Eastern Sakura and Western America.”

“But what the public loves talking about most is your endless stream of rumored romances with actresses from around the world.”

“What do you have to say about that?”

Looking at the sweet-smiling host before him, Zhou Qing moistened his throat and gave a light cough.

As camera flashes flickered in response to his answer, Zhou Qing's expression remained unchanged, as though he had long since grown used to it.

“Actually, I still prefer those days when I had just entered the entertainment industry...”

“That vibrant era, when all things competed to flourish, still feels so close!”
