At First, I Only Wanted to Be a Screenwriter

My name is An Yang. I used to be a low-level screenwriter, but who could have guessed I’d transmigrate and get bound to a System, which gave me a newbie gift pack containing the scripts for The Old Man and the Sea and Buried?

Since that’s the case, I might as well keep pursuing the screenwriting dream I never fulfilled in my previous life!

So I applied to the screenwriting department of a drama academy.

The preliminary exam tested students’ literary aptitude and knowledge of dramatic theory. Thanks to the material I’d accumulated over more than a decade in my previous life, I was lucky enough to pass.

For the second round, the instructors asked us to write a short story on the spot. I wrote The Old Man and the Sea and passed with flying colors.

At the interview, I handed the instructor the script for Buried and passed. Just like that, I was officially enrolled.

But later, I got other skills from the System, such as: Dialogue +1, Eyes +1, Vocal Tone +1...

So I tried acting, and even directing, and gradually started learning to sing.

Honestly, at first, I really only wanted to be a screenwriter. I didn’t dare dream of anything else!
