If I Could Travel Through Time

“Some people use up all their luck just by meeting you.”

“And in the end, my luck wasn’t enough to let me keep you.”

“If I could turn back time, I’d run over and hold you tight.”

In her second year of high school, Fu Changlin transferred to a new school and met the person she would never be able to forget for the rest of her life: Senior Gu.

They were obviously the same age, but Fu Changlin stubbornly called her “Senior,” as if that could build a safe wall in her heart and conceal her surging unrequited love. Senior Gu was dazzling beyond words. She came from a good family, had a lovely personality, and even the curve of her neck when she played the violin was beautiful enough to make one’s heart tremble. She was gentle and close with Fu Changlin, but, unfortunately... she already had a girlfriend.

Fu Changlin could only stand in the closest and yet most distant place, watching her as a friend while she fell in love, went abroad, and gradually drifted away. Years later, when their youth had passed, she finally understood: the greatest regret wasn’t loving someone who couldn’t love her back, but not even having the courage to reach out.

If... if she could go back, she would tell her cowardly younger self:

“Don’t let go.”

Theme: “I tried desperately to hide every flutter of my heart, but the moment you smiled at me, I fell apart.”
