A goofy, sweet story
A foul-mouthed, blunt sheep shou x a sweet-talking, scheming big shot gong
Wen Yangyang is a Tennessee sheep from across the ocean, commonly known as a fainting goat. When startled, his whole body stiffens and he falls over.
After deliberately getting startled by his buyer's kid for the umpteenth time, he decides to run away. A traveling abbot finds him and takes him back to the temple.
Three years later, Qingyuan Temple is missing a little sheep and has gained a child named Wen Yangyang.
Before Wen Yangyang leaves for college at eighteen, the abbot tells him he'll meet his destined one at twenty-two.
Mu Yunting makes his first appearance at a banquet after a car accident.
Extra 1: "Well, well, well, if it isn't President Mu!"
Extra 2: "I hear President Mu is getting married soon. Wonder who'll be lucky enough to marry him."
Extra 1 looks around, then turns to the waiter beside him. "Why don't I introduce you to someone?"
Wen Yangyang is working when someone suddenly grabs him from behind.
He hasn't even managed to say "f**k" before his whole body stiffens, and he crashes into Mu Yunting like a baguette.
Extra 1: "Looks like you two were fated to meet. Why don't I decide for you and marry him off to you as your wife? Hahahahahaha!"
Mu Yunting holds Wen Yangyang and looks down at the waiter with interest.
Wen Yangyang blinks with the only part of him he can still move: his eyes.
Mu Yunting smiles at him. "All right, wife. Since you aren't saying anything, I'll take that as agreement."
Wen Yangyang: ???
The abbot never said my destined one would be a man!
After learning about Mu Yunting's situation from his assistant, Wen Yangyang feels sorry for him.
He pats Mu Yunting on the shoulder. "Don't worry! Your foul-mouthed little prince has got your back!"
Extra 1: "Who do you think you are?"
Wen Yangyang: "Your dad."
Extra 2: "How dare you talk to us like that?"
Wen Yangyang: "Be quiet, grandchild, or people will say I did a lousy job raising you."
With Wen Yangyang looking after him, Mu Yunting ends up with a house full of descendants.
Mu Yunting grows more and more intrigued by the wife he picked up.
So...
When a business rival comes to provoke him, Mu Yunting immediately presses a hand to his forehead and coughs. "Wife, he's being mean to me."
Wen Yangyang goes straight into battle mode. "You dare mess with someone under my protection? Do you want your urn to have a sliding lid or a hinged one?"
A master of the art of tea makes snide remarks about Wen Yangyang finding himself a cripple.
Wen Yangyang: "Confucius said, keep running your mouth and I'll pry your skullcap off."
Of course, if anyone insults him, it triggers his passive skill, "Buddhist Temple's Foul-Mouthed Little Prince." He presses his palms together and smiles. "Amitabha. May your hair fall out tonight."
