I’m Done Being the White Moonlight’s Substitute

Ji Hongxue spent five years as a stand-in for his cousin, Ji Jiayou.

Now, Ji Jiayou has finally returned from America.

Ji Jiayou was cherished and spoiled from childhood, and even his looks seemed favored by heaven. He was stunningly beautiful, with countless admirers.

But Ji Hongxue was nothing more than an illegitimate son of little consequence. At best, he was handsome in an ordinary way. The only thing he shared with Ji Jiayou was a slight resemblance in their eyes.

Unlike Ji Jiayou, around whom everyone clustered like the moon and stars, Ji Hongxue was like a mushroom growing alone in some dark corner, unnoticed by anyone.

And yet, he fell helplessly in love with Song Chenglun, who was also in love with Ji Jiayou.

Song Chenglun, heir to the Song family, one of the capital's most powerful clans.

With his status, Song Chenglun could have anything he wanted. Yet he was willing to bow his proud head for Ji Jiayou, becoming as humble as any other suitor as he yearned for Ji Jiayou's love.

At the time, Ji Jiayou had eyes only for his then-boyfriend, and even went to America with him against everyone's wishes.

Ji Hongxue took the opportunity to confess to Song Chenglun, who was heartbroken.

To be with Song Chenglun, he was even willing to spend five whole years as Ji Jiayou's stand-in.

Now, Ji Jiayou's relationship with his boyfriend has fallen apart, and he has finally returned from America.
