After an Honest Man Catches the Eye of a Tycoon's Heir

Jiang Binbai grew up in an orphanage, so from a young age he always followed the rules and watched his step, afraid of offending anyone.

Fortunately, he did well in school and got into a prestigious university.

To cover his living expenses, Jiang Binbai found a job as a tutor. The student he taught lived in the most exclusive neighborhood of luxury villas, and the student's older brother was Xie Yan, the most talked-about person at school.

Xie Yan was devastatingly handsome, and every gesture carried an innate air of nobility. Wherever he went, he became the center of attention.

By contrast, Jiang Binbai wore thick glasses day in and day out, along with clothes worn fuzzy from washing and faded jeans. Anyone could see how hard up he was.

On top of that, he was quiet and unsociable, so everyone treated him like an insignificant background character.

In Jiang Binbai's eyes, he and Xie Yan belonged to different worlds. So even though they often ran into each other at the villa, all Jiang Binbai ever did was give Xie Yan a polite nod before hurrying away with his lips pressed together.

Jiang Binbai had assumed his nodding acquaintance with Xie Yan would end for good once his tutoring job was over.

Then, unexpectedly, the director of the orphanage who had raised him suddenly fell seriously ill, and the treatment would cost a fortune.

"If you're willing to pretend to be my boyfriend, I'll cover all the orphanage director's future medical expenses."

Jiang Binbai couldn't understand why Xie Yan, who was admired by so many people, would ask him to play his boyfriend. But for the director's sake, he could only nod and agree.

Later, as he played the role of boyfriend, Jiang Binbai grew more and more confused.

Did fake boyfriends really have to kiss all the time?

Did fake boyfriends... have to do that kind of thing, too?

And was there something wrong with Xie Yan? Why did he always take so long?
