The Evil God's Bride [Western Fantasy]

Nolan was about to marry his beloved, and everyone in town had come to offer their blessings.

Nolan carefully prepared for their wedding.

That morning, as usual, he went into the forest with his beloved to pick flowers for the wedding decorations.

The young man was focused on gathering flowers still glistening with dew. He didn't notice the bushes nearby suddenly stir, revealing a huge wolf's head, saliva dripping from its jaws.

It was an old wolf, driven out of its pack and starving for far too long. It couldn't wait to fill its belly.

But before it could pounce on the black-haired young man, the ground beneath it turned into a black swamp.

Countless black tentacles spread from the swamp and covered the wolf's mouth and nose, silently swallowing it whole until not a trace remained, as if it had never been there.

Then the black swamp writhed and shrank into a speck of shadow, quickly merging with the shadow of the long-haired man in black nearby.

"Cyril, don't you think these flowers are beautiful?"

Completely unaware of what had happened nearby, the young man held up the flowers he'd just picked, his eyes shining as he looked at his beloved.

The long-haired man in black walked over to Nolan and smiled, lowering his head to kiss him. "They're beautiful. With the flowers you picked, I'm sure our wedding will be perfect."
