After Becoming a Prisoner in the Enemy Kingdom as a Hostage

The Xia Kingdom fell on the day its crown prince, Ruan Nanxiao, was to marry his crown princess.

A man on horseback, silhouetted against the setting sun, looked at him coldly. "The crown prince of Xia is getting married. I came to share in the festivities."

"Since Your Majesty has come to attend my wedding, you are an honored guest. Please come inside and take a seat."

"Oh? And what if I told you I came to steal the bride?"

Ruan Nanxiao smiled and cupped his hands toward Duan Yi. "If Your Majesty likes her, I'm perfectly willing to hand her over."

Hand her over, indeed. The young man before him looked refined and handsome, but he had no heart at all.

The coldness in Duan Yi's eyes deepened. He wanted to tear off the young man's hypocritical mask with his own hands and see him truly panic.

"Hah. When did I ever say the person I came to steal was the crown princess?"

The muscular man reached out, wrapped an arm around the young man's slender waist, and hoisted him over his shoulder.

"Let's see if the crown prince of Xia is still so sharp-tongued in bed."
