A Beautiful Legacy

Qi Xinghuai, the master of the First Sword Manor Under Heaven, died suddenly of illness. His only son, Qi Yingrui, whom he had once banished, naturally returned to the manor and inherited the entire estate.

Everyone thought Qi Yingrui would kill Feng Xiuzhu upon his return to the manor.

It was said that Qi Yingrui had been driven from home because Feng Xiuzhu had used his beauty to seduce Qi Xinghuai and drive a wedge between father and son.

Though Feng Xiuzhu was a man, he was born with an alluring charm and possessed peerless beauty. Even Jiang Fanyan, universally acclaimed as the most beautiful woman in the world, paled in comparison.

That was how he had bewitched Qi Xinghuai, who had been so captivated that he married a man and made him the wife of the First Sword Manor Under Heaven.

Qi Yingrui and this male stepmother, who was around his own age, had long been rumored to be at odds. What's more, he had later been driven from home because of Feng Xiuzhu.

But no one expected that Feng Xiuzhu would not only survive, but after Qi Yingrui completed his three-year mourning period, would be welcomed back in a grand wedding and continue as the wife of the First Sword Manor Under Heaven.
