Small-Town ABO Fiction

County-town ABO romance: naturally scummy younger omega bottom VS gloomy, artsy alpha top

Older top, handsome bottom, both are each other's first.

My ex, who's been working out of province, is back in town, empty-handed and ready to be set up on a blind date.

People from the countryside like getting married young. What kind of decent match can a bumpkin find? I ought to go help him pick someone out.

I set up a feast at a barbecue stand that night and texted him: "Come over. I'll find you a city girl. Offer expires soon."

Even though we'd said every nasty thing we could think of when we broke up, he still swallowed his pride and came for the chance to meet a city girl.

All right, all right, so you're that desperate to get married?

Two years had passed, and he was even more handsome now, standing straight and tall like a poplar tree. The moment we met, he started calling me cousin-brother.

As if everything that happened between us had been wiped clean.

As if.

I said, "I'll help you find a job in town."

He said, "Sure! You're so good to me, Cousin."

I said, "How about I find you someone well-educated, too? We could raise the IQ of the next generation."

He smiled shyly. "They don't have to be that smart. About as smart as you, Cousin, would be fine."

I said, "Oh, I forgot to bring a photo. Come over to my place tonight and take a look."

He lowered his head and picked the bones out of the grilled fish one by one, saying nothing.

Little brat. Whenever it comes to this, you pretend you can't hear me.

I said, "Why else would I be so good to you without asking for anything in return? Because your mom was my dad's mistress?"

Now that I'd shown my hand, he hurried to say, "Thanks for dinner, Cousin. The city is full of tricks. I'd better go back to the countryside."

I said, "Now that I've got you in my hands, you're not getting away."
