The Beloved's Child Became Everyone's Least Favorite

Melodramatic. The gong is a virgin; the shou isn't.

Chen Zeti was born to a heartthrob and inherited his biological father's striking looks, yet grew up to be universally disliked.

Abused by his biological father as a child, he became gloomy and unpleasant. At ten, he was sent to board with his father's admirer. He did everything he could to win his adoptive brother's favor, but was still hated by him.

He had no one to blame but himself, too. He spent his school years focused on dating and stopped studying altogether after turning eighteen. He left his foster home, rented a place on his own, and worked odd jobs. After his ex-boyfriend sabotaged him several times, each new job he found was worse than the last.

His ex, Cheng Changning, was rich and influential. Even after they broke up, he wouldn't leave Chen Zeti alone. Whenever he got the chance, he would make trouble for him and toy with him. So even after five years in the working world, Chen Zeti was still muddling through life.

When Lu Tingxu was fifteen, his father brought home the child of his beloved, and raised him for eight years. This drove Lu's biological Omega father into depression.

Lu Tingxu's attitude toward him went from accepting him without knowing the truth to detesting him utterly.

He hated the way the other man looked at him with longing, so he forced him to get a boyfriend.

Even after the other man moved out, their relationship did not improve.

Ning Yu and Lu Tingxu had been childhood friends. When Ning Yu returned from abroad, they met again at a matchmaking dinner. Over the meal, Ning Yu brought up a movie about two people who met through matchmaking. The Alpha repeatedly abandoned the Omega for his beloved, until the Omega left and the Alpha finally realized he had truly fallen in love with him long ago.

Ning Yu brought it up because he'd heard Lu Tingxu did have someone in his heart, and he was hinting at it.

But Lu Tingxu wasn't listening. Following his gaze, Ning Yu saw a car shaking.

Then the usually composed Lu Tingxu smashed the car in a fit of rage. Grief filled his eyes as he took the person away without looking back, leaving Ning Yu standing there.

The words had come true.
