Pei Xi took a step back and swallowed. "I... I can explain..."

Lu Li backed him into a corner. His heavy breathing pressed close as the sweet face in his mind merged with the youthful, flustered face before him. "Explain what? That you're breaking up with me?"

Pei Xi: "!!!"

But they weren't even dating yet?!

Late at night.

The sobbing gradually subsided.
