This Mermaid Has a Screw Loose

Innocent catboy bottom x scheming merman top

After his family casts him out, the little cat Ba falls into dire hunger, until a foreign merman appears.

With the merman feeding him every day, the cat grows plump and round.

One day, Ba eats his fill and asks, “Why are you so nice to me?”

Ba has no idea how long the merman has been waiting to hear that question. He replies, “I want to come ashore.”

Ba stares at him. “You've got arms and legs. Why not just come up?”

Jiaoxia sighs. “We merfolk are cursed. If we come ashore without permission, we'll turn into bubbles.”

Ba answers honestly, “But I can't carry a fish this, big, either.”

Jiaoxia says, “You don't have to carry me. You just have to do one thing with me.”

“What thing?”

“Promise me first.”

“Sure. What thing?”

“Get married. Mate.”

?

Dude, are you messing with me? I'm a tomcat!
